5B Classroom News: October 28th

A note from Mrs. Burke:
I am extremely proud of my students! They are the first class to receive the Related Arts ROCKSTAR Award for outstanding behavior in related arts. This means that they have shown excellent behavior during Art, Library, Music, Physical Education, and Spanish. They truly are a very special group of kids! During the same assembly that the class received their ROCKSTAR award, the PAW Squad performed a skit to teach the students about personal space. They were spectacular! They are quite a talented group of actors!

Keep reading to see what our student reporters posted about these two very special events.

I'm looking forward to seeing parents and students at conferences next week! Click here to see the conference schedule.

What did you learn from the skit the PAW Squad performed at our assembly on Wednesday morning?

I learned from the PAW Squad that it is important to give friends and classmates their personal space.
-Aaron

The Paw squad skit was so fun to wear the wig and  pink fluffy tutu, it was fun.
-Ben

I learned that it was fun doing the paw squad skit and I was a little nervous. -Charleigh

When we were doing the skit I was confident in my lines, yet nervous that everything was going to go as planned.  When the skit started going I was excited that everyone was playing their part and everything was going as planned.  But, after it was over, we were all relieved, and had lots of fun.
-Colin

That we need to keep our personal space and don’t get in others space.
-Liam

What I learned from the PAW Squad is that you should have personal space and you should not invade someone else's personal space.
-Peyton

That your space is more important than I thought because it can hurt people and make them feel uncomfortable.
-Riley

I learned from the skit the PAW Squad performed at our assembly on Wednesday morning to stay in your personal bubble.
-Triv-Ann
