5B Classroom News: Week of January 13th

A note from Mrs. Burke:
It's National Kindness month! The students have created a bulletin board with random acts of kindness. They each decorated an envelope for the bulletin board and wrote acts of kindness on index cards, and put the cards in the envelope. Each morning they choose a card from an envelope and demonstrate the act of kindness that is written on the card. In the blog this week, students have reflected on this activity.

More Spanish songs have been added to the link to the right under Useful Links. We often use the songs for our brain breaks. The students really enjoy them!

Please note, there will not be a blog post next week due to the short school week. Students do not have school on Monday and Tuesday. Enjoy the long weekend with your kids!

Take a look at what our student reporters wrote on the blog this week.
