A note from Mrs. Burke:
Report cards were sent home on Friday with students. They are in a sealed envelope. Please be sure to ask your child for their report card. Also, the holiday concert is this Thursday, December 7th at 6pm in the gym. I hope you can make it. The students rehearsed on Friday and they sound beautiful!

This time in Blood on the River we finished the book it was fun to read and learn about the colonists.

I can’t believe we finished the Blood on the River! At first I thought that Samuel was going to die!! But then Anne Laydon saves him!

In Second Step we are learning about different perspectives of different people in the same situation.

The activity we did in Second Step to help us understand perspective was drawing a book of what we saw, which would be our perspective of what we saw.

Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) Jeopardy:
Students reviewed the district's AUP policy by playing AUP Jeopardy. It enabled them to review the acceptable and prohibited uses of their computers in a fun and engaging way. It was a close game for two of the teams!
When I was playing Jeopardy, my team went into the negative amount of money quite a bit.
